This is an isometric grid design that I made in Adobe Illustrator - originally, I started out by using the shape builder to draw some lines in random directions. I realized that the lines started to look like roads from an overhead angle, so I moved onto drawing some buildings to stand above the roads and to add depth to the image. In order to keep the image from looking too simple, I added random holes in the ground to draw attention away from the static look of the buildings, roads, and the spaces in between.
